ReCon 2026 - Abstract presenters

Please find below an overview of instructions, per presentation type.

The type of presentation will have been communicated to the abstract submitter via email.

Registration & Accommodation

As an oral abstract presenter you receive complimentary registration, but you must still register yourself. Please go to registration page and select the registration category ‘Oral abstract presenter’. Please note that the presenter must be registered in order to present and the name in the registration must match the name of the indicated presenter to be valid.

Oral presenters also receive up to 3 nights accommodation at the HQ hotel, the Radisson Blu Hotel Espoo, on March 23-26. In the confirmation form you can indicate any deviations.

Instructions
  • You have a presentation slot of 15 minutes: 10 minutes for your presentation and 5 minutes for Q&A
  • We recommend a maximum of 16 slides: 1x conference cover (mandatory), 1x affiliations disclosure slide (mandatory, 10 secs), 14 content slides
  • The 16:9 format is mandatory (we do not accept 4:3 for example)
  • The provided PowerPoint template can be used to create your presentation (but is not mandatory to use)

Please note: the best scoring posters will also receive an elevator pitch (“poster pitch”) opportunity. Submitters will be notified of this after the poster only abstract submission deadline in January 2026.

If abstract is submitted by November 24, 2025 (23:59 CET)

If abstract is submitted between November 25 – January 15 (extended date), 2026 (23:59 CET)

  • February 1, 2026 (23:59 CET): deadline to confirm or cancel your presentation
  • February 1, 2026 (23:59 CET): deadline to register for the Early Fee.
Registration
  • Poster presenters must be registered in order to present.
    • Abstracts submitted by November 24 must register by January 8 to be eligible for the Early Fee. Registration after that is still possible at the Regular Fee rate.
    • Abstracts submitted between November 25 and January 15 (extended date) will be able to register for the Early Fee.  Below are the instructions:
  1. Go to the registration page
    *To register to the meeting, please login to your My EHA account; please create your My EHA account first if you do not have one yet.
  2. Some of your personal information has been prefilled. Please complete the remaining requested information, and click on “Next” until you reach the Registration Category page
  3. Select your registration category “2nd Round Poster Presenters Registration – EHA Junior Member/EHA Member/Non member” by sliding the cursor of the selected category and click on “Proceed to booking
    *Note that regular registration fee options are also listed on the same page so please double check that you are registering with the correct category.
  1. Click on “Confirm Booking”
  1. You will be taken to the Registration Summary page, and your Registration Confirmation letter will be sent shortly afterward. It may sometimes land in your spam folder, so please check there if you don’t receive it. If you still haven’t received confirmation after 24 hours, please contact us at eharecon@ehaweb.org.
  1. Please kindly register before Sunday, February 1, 2026 (23:59 CET) as the discounted registration category will be closed after this date
  2. You can now view the meeting(s) you have registered in the Meetings > My Meetings tab when logged into your My EHA account.
Instructions

Before the meeting:

  1. Prepare your poster
    • Size of poster board (usable space): 95 cm wide and 145 cm high (vertical/portrait)
    • The poster should be readable from a distance of 1 – 2 meters. This means that all lettering should be at least 6mm high.
    • Graphs and diagrams should be drawn with a minimum line width of 1 mm.
    • Do not use industry logos on your poster.
    • A poster template is not mandatory, but the poster should be portrait style (vertical).
  2. Print your poster
    • Please print your poster yourself and bring the printed version to the meeting. There is no on-site print service available

At the meeting:

  1. General Information
    • Posters will be presented in the Poster Area
    • One poster board will be allocated for each poster
    • A printed number identifying each poster board will be provided
  2. Poster mounting
    • During the indicated set-up time (see below).
    • Assistance and material (provided by EHA) will be available from set-up time in the Poster Area, and at the Speaker desk.
  3. Poster viewing and presentation
    • Posters will be on display in the poster area at indicated times. The poster area will be open for viewing during the meeting hours on March 23-26, 2026.
    • Each presenter is allocated 1 poster session during which they are expected to present their poster. During the other session they can browse the other posters.
  4. Removing your poster material
    • Material should be removed by Thursday, March 26, 13:30. If posters are not removed on time, your poster will be removed and disposed of by EHA.
Poster presentation schedule:
  • Set-up: Monday, March 23 (12:30-17:30)
  • Viewing: From Monday, March 23 (18:30) to Thursday, March 26 (11:30)
  • Poster session 1: Monday, March 23 (18:30-20:00)
  • Poster session 2: Tuesday, March 24 (18:30-20:00)

      • 1x affiliations and disclosures slide (displayed for at least 10 secs),
      • 1 content slide which serves as a ‘teaser’ for you full poster
    • The 16:9 format is mandatory (we do not accept 4:3 for example)
    • The provided PowerPoint template can be used to create your presentation (but is not mandatory to use)
    • Your presentation must be submitted by Monday, March 16, 2026 (23:59 CET).
  2. Prepare your poster

    • Allocation and presentation order are assigned via email
    • We recommend you pitch only the highlights of your research and invite delegates to visit you and your poster during the dedicated poster session for more details.

    • Assistance and material (provided by EHA) will be available from set-up time in the Poster Area, and at the Speaker desk.
  4. Poster viewing and presentation
