EHA Lifetime Achievement Award
The EHA Lifetime Achievement Award is awarded for an extraordinary lifetime contribution to the field of hematology.
The nominated person must have:
- Made a valuable contribution to the field of hematology over at least a 20-year period
- Shown dedication to their work and commitment to furthering the field of hematology
- Been responsible for pioneering and innovative work in their field
This award was formerly known as the Jean Bernard Lifetime Achievement Award.

The 2025 winner of the EHA Lifetime Achievement Award was Prof Jesús F. San Miguel.
