The second edition of this EHA-SWG Meeting on state-of-the-art of constitutional marrow failures will cover the novel aspects in chronic neutropenia. Recent developments in the pathogenesis of “classical CMFS” like ribosome and telomere disorders and Fanconi anemia will be presented. The novel area of "Leukemia Predisposition Genes" will be dealt with by providing tools on how to identify and manage patients carrying these features. Round tables will focus on the correct timing and indications of stem cell transplantation in congenital neutropenias and in CMFS and on the role of precision medicine in these diseases.

Target audience
Hematologists, both in training (medical students) and trainees (junior doctors), doctors and scientists involved in the area of granulocyte and constitutional marrow failure syndromes.
Program
The scientific program will cover:
- novel aspects in chronic neutropenia,
- recent developments in the pathogenesis of “classical CMFS” like ribosome and telomere disorders and Fanconi Anemia,
- leukemia predisposition genes, and
- stem cell transplantation in congenital neutropenias and in CMFS and on the role of precision medicine.
Contributions tailored to the specific disease area from representatives of patients' associations, pharma and regulatory institutions will also be included. Finally, new experimental treatments for these rare diseases will be presented and discussed. The topics will be covered by worldwide renowned experts and top-ranking speakers from Europe and US. In addition two slots for selected presentations by juniors on illustrative and rare clinical cases or peculiar topics are also foreseen.
