Clinical Project Manager (EHA Foundation)
Hematologic diseases afflict millions of Europeans each year. The EHA Foundation, located in the heart of The Hague (the Netherlands), is a non-profit foundation serving clinicians and researchers with an active interest in hematology in Europe and beyond. The EHA Foundation is closely linked to the European Hematology Association (EHA) and shares its vision and values.
Our mission is to support activities that enhance the quality of hematology care through cross-border collaboration, enabling discoveries that lead to cures, and promoting equity in healthcare.
The EHA Foundation assists clinicians and researchers by stimulating and supporting high-quality education in hematology throughout Europe, to improve patient and public healthcare standards. Additionally, we strive to make academic clinical trials accessible to underrepresented researchers, thereby increasing clinical research and benefiting patients worldwide. This initiative helps researchers who wish to conduct studies by building essential capabilities and fundamental knowledge while facilitating hematological research efforts.
The EHA Foundation’s dedication to inclusivity and knowledge-sharing has fostered a dynamic network of professionals. We are more than just a foundation; we are a thriving community that promotes growth, mentorship, and innovation, transcending geographical and intellectual borders. We seek team members inspired by our mission, driven to achieve excellence, and possess the creativity needed to explore diverse income streams for sustainable, long-term growth.
The EHA Academic Clinical Trials Support (ACTS) initiative, which is part of the EHA Foundation, aims to:
- Provide clinical research centers across Europe with the necessary tools to join large collaborative clinical trials
- Connect collaborative clinical trials networks with centers from less-represented countries
Improving access to clinical trials for patients and academic groups is of fundamental importance. EHA ACTS will develop tools and foster networks that will facilitate the inclusion of patients from less-represented areas in Europe.
We are looking for a Clinical Project Manager (EHA Foundation)—a seasoned specialist who has prior experience of working with academic clinical trials. The candidate must have an active interest in hematology.
About the role
The Clinical Project Manager at the EHA Foundation will support academic centers, particularly those from less-represented countries, that aim to participate in clinical trials.
The manager will also be instrumental in establishing the ACTS initiative by defining and structuring the business plan (including the project’s budget, objectives, timelines, and resources) while ensuring that all relevant stakeholders are informed and involved.
Once established, the primary objective of this role is to assist these centers.
You will work independently under the EHA Foundation and report to its Managing Director.
