EHA endorses the International COVID-19 Blood Cancer Coalition (ICBCC) Statement

On February 21, the COVID-19 Blood Cancer Coalition (ICBCC), a multi-stakeholder coalition including representatives from the global patient advocacy and clinical community, launched its Joint Patient Impact Statement and Recommendations for protecting immunocompromised blood cancer patients during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Travel grants are intended to support young investigators; therefore, applicants should be 36 years of age or young and reside in one of the upper-middle, lower-middle, and low-income countries.

2018’s Sjöberg Prize awarded for unique treatment that cures a once fatal cancer

Dr. Zhu Chen, Dr. Anne Dejean and Dr. Hugues de Thé will be awarded the Sjöberg Prize 2018 for their work on how acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL) could be cured based on arsenic and retinoic acid.
