EHA collaborates with THD to provide critical aid to hematologists

The Hague (Netherlands), June 23, 2023. The European Hematology Association (EHA) is proud to announce its partnership with the Türk Hematoloji Derneği (THD) in a joint effort to support hematologists working in earthquake-affected areas in Türkiye and Syria.

EHA Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Award 2024

The EHA Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Award celebrates achievements that foster inclusivity. It recognizes efforts taken by individuals, teams, or organizations (collectively “candidate”) to promote DEI within leadership, initiatives, and overall work.

Advocacy priorities

The European Union works on countless pieces of legislation and policies that affect the health ecosystem. Some are relevant to most medical disciplines, including hematology—such as the legislation on health data or pharmaceuticals.

José Carreras Award

José Carreras, who himself underwent a transplant procedure in Seattle, USA, in 1988, was instrumental in setting up the José Carreras Foundation in Barcelona. The Foundation has established a program of scholarships for scientists working in the field.
