Key deadline - oral presentation 

Before the meeting 

1. Confirm your oral abstract presentation

Please complete the oral abstract confirmation form to confirm or cancel your oral abstract presentation and share details of the presenters by December 31, 2024 (23:59 CET).

2. Register for the meeting

The presenter must be registered for the meeting in order to present. To register, please go to the registration page. Presenters need to register themselves by using the personalized discount code provided in the notification letter and select the registration category ‘Oral abstract presenter’. Please kindly register for the meeting by January 10, 2025 (23:59 CET).

Oral presenters receive complimentary accommodation for the conference date of March 17-20, 2025 (3 nights' accommodation) at the Hotel Sol Marbella Estepona Atalaya Park in Málaga.

Please note that travel (including transfers to and from the venue) is NOT covered or arranged by EHA. If you need to register for the transfer to and from the venue, you may use the transfer booking link provided in the registration confirmation letter. 

3. Prepare your presentation slides

• Presentation Template 
• A maximum of 16 slides are allowed (16:9 format)
  • 2 compulsory slides are:
    • 1x conference cover slide
    • 1x affiliations and disclosure slide (displayed for at least 10 secs.)
  • 14 content slides
• Presentation length: 10 mins presentation time + 5 mins Q&A time
• It is not necessary to include all details of your presentation on the slides. We recommend just include the highlights and use this as a backbone of your presentation.

• Presentation slide deck and signed Publishing Authorization form must be submitted to the oral abstract submission form by March 10, 2025 (23:59 CET).

At the meeting

Please check in at the speaker desk at least 3 hours before your presentation time in order to check your slides with the technical staff. The use of your own laptop during your presentation is strictly prohibited.

Key deadline - poster pitch & poster presentation

Before the meeting

1. Confirm your poster pitch presentation

Please complete the poster pitch confirmation form to confirm or cancel your poster pitch and poster presentation and share details of the presenters by December 31, 2024 (23:59 CET).

2. Register for the meeting

The presenter must be registered for the meeting in order to present. To register, please go to the registration page. 

3. Prepare your poster flash talk

• Presentation Template
• A maximum 5 slides are allowed (16:9 format)
  • 2 compulsory slides are
    • 1x conference cover slide
    • 1x affiliations and disclosures slide (displayed for at least 10 secs)
  • 3 content slides
• Presentation length: maximum 5 mins per poster pitch, no Q&A time 
• We recommend focusing only on the highlights of your research and invite delegates to visit you and your poster during the dedicated poster session for more details.

• Presentation slides and signed publishing authorization form must be submitted to the poster pitch submission form by March 10, 2025 (23:59 CET).

4. Prepare your poster

• Please use the EHA Research Conference poster template.
• Size of poster board (usable space): 95 cm wide and 130 cm high (vertical/portrait)
• The poster should be readable from a distance of 1 - 2 meters. This means that all lettering should be at least 6mm high.
• Graphs and diagrams should be drawn with a minimum line width of 1 mm.
• Do not use industry logos on your poster.
• Please print your poster yourself and bring the printed version to the meeting. There is NO onsite print service available.

At the meeting

Poster mounting and removing

• Poster should be mounted on March 17 between 12:30 and 17:30
• Assistance and materials to mount the posters will be available during set-up time at the Poster Area.
• Material should be removed on Wednesday, March 19, by 13:30. If posters are not removed on time, the posters will be removed and disposed of by EHA.
