The Hague, June 2022 - HemaSphere, the official peer-reviewed journal of the European Hematology Association (EHA), has received its first Journal Impact Factor™. The preliminary 2021 Journal Impact Factor for HemaSphere is 8.

Madrid Declaration: joint call for action on training requirements

The Madrid Declaration on enhanced training requirements for hematologists in the Professional Qualifications Directive enjoyed broad support from national society representatives at the EHA22 National Societies Dinner in Madrid.

Reduction of chemotherapy and PET-guided radiotherapy in advanced-stage Hodgkin lymphoma: the GHSG HD15 trial

Using the multi-agent chemotherapy regimen BEACOPP the GHSG demonstrated significantly better tumor control and overall survival compared to previously used regimens. In addition, the need for radiotherapy in patients with advanced stage Hodgkin lymphoma has been unclear.
