EHA and the European Cancer Patient Coalition co-hosted a meeting at the European Parliament in Brussels on August 30-31, 2011. The two-day conference was attended by doctors, researchers, parliamentarians, patient advocates and Commission officials.

Education and training are largely national competencies.
EHA policy on double awarding
EHA is guided by the concept of supporting as many young investigators/clinicians as possible in their career development. Therefore, double awarding is not allowed. Winning an award excludes the award winner from winning another award while receiving the first.
