Professor Willem E. Fibbe has been involved in EHA over a period of twenty years, starting as counselor from 2000-2004. From 2007-2009 he served as President of EHA and spent ten years as a member of the EHA Board. He has recently joined several committees including the Nomination Committee, Research Committee and the Governance Committee. Professor Shai Izraeli been involved in EHA since 2006 and has been a member of several Committees at EHA ever since. He is currently the EHA Treasurer, a member of the Executive Board, and the incoming Chair of the Research Committee. Meet Prof Izraeli and learn about what he does and why he has been volunteering for EHA for all these years.

I serve the EHA as chairman of the Study working group on “Red cells and iron” since June 2014. It was a very fruitful and exciting period.

Professor Robin Foà has been a member of EHA from its beginning and has participated in all EHA Congresses. He was EHA President in 2009-2011, has participated in many educational activities of the association and is currently a member of the Global Outreach Program Committee of EHA.

I was nominated to be on the EHA Ballot in 2000 and to my surprise and happiness, I was elected as Councilor. I became President-elect in 2003 and was the EHA President 2005-2007.
