Welcome to the faculty details page.

On this page you can find instructions for the speakers and chairs of the congress:

  • You can download the PowerPoint Template here. If you use your own template, please use a 16x9 format.
  • Please make sure your presentation slides are uploaded to the portal AT LEAST THREE HOURS before your presentation, either through the faculty portal or at the Speaker Service Center on-site. 
  • The use of your own laptop during the presentation is strictly prohibited. 
  • Please download the Publishing Authorization and return it to b.huntly@ehaweb.org.
  • Oral (abstract) presenters have 15 minutes to present their abstract (10 minutes talk + 5 minutes for Q&A).
    • Please download the PPT template, sign the Publishing Authorization, update your personal details in the Online Faculty Portal and check in at the Speaker Service Center (SSC) at the Congress venue to upload or review your final slides (opening hours below).

Note: 2 years with relevance.

As part of the European Board for Accreditation in Hematology (EBAH) CME accreditation procedures, all speakers and chairs are obliged to disclose their affiliations on the first slide of each presentation. These should be shown for the duration of at least 10 seconds. During the check-in at the Speaker Service Center your presentation will be provided with a mandatory 10-second disclosure slide.

Learning goals

This is an example only, please feel free to extend the learning goals to the appropriate content / length (the minimum is 2-4 learning goals).

Example: After attending this lecture, participants should be able to:

  • describe current and emerging therapies for older patients with newly diagnosed AML,
  • select appropriate upfront therapy based upon patient and disease characteristics, and
  • discuss treatment options for older patients who may or may not be candidates for standard intensive chemotherapy.

Presentation title & focus

If you are a speaker you can propose a new presentation title or change the focus of your talk. Please send your suggestion to b.huntly@ehaweb.org so that the SPC&AB can review and approve it.

Speaker Service Center (SSC) - Opening hours

The Speaker Service Center (SSC) can be found in Forum 0. We kindly ask every presenter to check in at the Speaker Service Center at least three hours before your presentation time to check your slides, to upload, edit or check your presentation, to fill in the disclosure slide and to sign the publication authorization. Please bring your presentation slides on a USB stick. 

Equipment to enable a final check of your PowerPoint presentation is available in the Speaker Service Center (SSC) and will be open at the following hours:
