Molecular Hematopoiesis Workshop

The Molecular Hematopoiesis Workshop at the EHA2024 Hybrid Congress is back!

Chair: Michael Milsom (Germany)
Co-chairs: Kim De Keersmaecker (Belgium), Elisa Laurenti (United Kingdom) & Britta Will (United States)

The full workshop program is available below
Session 1: Signalling and metabolism
Session 2: Gene regulation
Session 3: Regeneration and repair

The workshop will take place on Friday, June 14, 2024 from 08:00 - 11:15 CEST at the EHA2024 Hybrid Congress. The 3-hour workshop will feature talks with time for open discussion. There will also be networking opportunities with speakers between sessions and at the end of the workshop. Attendance at the workshop is free for all individuals registered to the EHA Annual Congress.

The goal of the workshop is to present and discuss the latest scientific results covering a broad range of topics relating to the field of molecular hematopoiesis. Previous iterations of the workshop have included work focused on stem cell and progenitor biology; hematologic malignancies; non-malignant diseased hematopoiesis; cell signaling; developmental hematopoiesis, inflammation, infection and stress; epigenome and epitranscriptome; aging, clonal hematopoiesis and pre-malignant hematopoiesis; gene therapy; metabolism, microenvironment; and novel technologies. Each speaker will give a short talk, followed by time for discussion. The broad range of topics and the highly interactive format make this a great place to present your latest work for a large international audience and have the chance to interact with world-class colleagues. The workshop is aimed at an audience of to both basic scientists and clinical investigators interested in translational research.

Junior and more advanced faculty, as well as senior post-doctoral fellows, particularly those in transition to their next career step, are strongly encouraged to apply for a presentation in the workshop.

To facilitate the workshop format, we strongly encourage in-person attendance in Madrid. Selected speakers will receive complimentary registration for the EHA Annual Congress, as well as travel and hotel support.

If you would like the opportunity to present your latest findings at the workshop, then please use the link below to submit an abstract for consideration. Please note we will only be considering work that is unpublished or at preprint stage. There will be no overlap with the main meeting abstract program.

Submission is closed

The deadline for submitting your abstract was April 15, 2024 (17:00 CEST).

Selected speakers were contacted by April 26, 2024 regarding the selection.
