The European Hematology Association (EHA) invites you to support the 7th European CAR T-cell Meeting.

The aim of this SWG is to strengthen and invigorate European research in transfusion, to foster new networks and collaborations, with the ultimate goal of optomisingtransfusion practice in Europe based on scientific evidence.

Registration & accommodation

Registration is closed. The EHA-EBMT 6th European CAR T-cell Meeting provides opportunities for students, trainees, nurses and others to join the meeting for a discounted fee.

José Carreras Award

José Carreras, who himself underwent a transplant procedure in Seattle, USA, in 1988, was instrumental in setting up the José Carreras Foundation in Barcelona. The Foundation has established a program of scholarships for scientists working in the field.

EHA Lymphoma Group

The EHA Lymphoma Group (EHA LyG) is a specialized working group that was established in 2014.

Chairs and Members

The EHA SWG commenced in 2020, but initial work was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We therefore started in 2021, in preparation for a (successful) SWG meeting in 2022.

The meeting was organized with the main support of the EHA in collaboration with the Hematology Unit of G. Gaslini Children’s Hospital and was sponsored by Novartis and Alexion.

ELOQUENT-2, which evaluated elotuzumab in combination with lenalidomide and dexamethasone, is the first Phase III study to demonstrate the benefit of directly activating the immune system in the treatment of patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma.
