EHA remembers Tessa Holyoake

We received the sad news of Professor Tessa Holyoake’s passing. Tessa Holyoake was a Professor of Experimental Hematology and the Head of the Paul O'Gorman Leukemia Research Centre.

Impact of new technologies on diagnosis and treatment of anemias highlighted in scientific meeting
Hematologists from 18 countries and 4 continents learned more about the new techniques for diagnosis and treatment of anemias during the EHA-SWG Scientific Meeting on Anemias on February 2-4, 2017 in Barcelona, Spain.

Specialized Working Groups (SWGs)
In order to cover the full hematology field, EHA Specialized Working Groups (SWGs) are divided in two groups: disease-oriented and overarching SWGs.
SWG Grant-funded projects, 2024
In November and December of 2023, SWGs were invited to develop project ideas and apply for a 2024 SWG Grant. ApplicationsWe received 11 different applications from 9 SWGs. This was two more applications than we received in 2022.
